Can't believe a whole year has gone by. I know that a lot of people will be doing things to remember you today, I have heard about the 10 o clock silence that the football team at school are doing which i will be doing too. I have heard that your ribbons have been remade as well which is really nice to know, although i'm not around to go and visit you at the cemetery or anything, i am thinking of you today and every time i look at the brilliant picture on my windowsill here at uni, the really funny one i have of you sunbathing by the river in pangbourne, i know that you're watching over me and looking after me when im lonely, and doing the same for everyone else. Am thinking of your family today and thinking about how wonderful and kind they have been to all of us over the last year. Miss you Nick.xxx

My thoughts today are with all Nick's friends and family, I knew Nick as a student but also as a friend to my Daughter and many of her friends and as a mentor to my Son with his football...yes he was an amazing young man....but today I would like to thank his parents, not only for giving us Nick, but being there for the young people that were affected by his loss....you and your family have opened your hearts to them all....is it no wonder he was such a caring young man with parents like you to guide him.
Thank you so much. I will be thinking of you today along with many, many more.

I'm waking up to the 24th a few hours earlier than everyone else but the first thing I thought of was Nick.
One year goes by incredibly quickly. We just all have to learn from this to appreciate everything and everybody that we love in life and never take it for granted. Live life to the full.
I'm thinking of everybody today and sending all my love and support. Please remember Nick for the wonderful person that he was, and smile.
I'll always think of him and treasure my memories. I'll never stop loving Nick and we should all feel blessed that he was in our lives.
Feel safe in the knowledge that he is looking out for everyone of us.
All my love, always.

Although i didnt know Nick, it's a bit scary how time has gone so fast, but quite a lot has been achieved in that year eg. his bench (which is great by the way!), we'll all still remember you!
