The headstone is in place; it may have taken a long time for our emotions to settle and the words to come, but we trust that it does justice to our beloved Nick. Missing you, Nicho, as always.

Although I never met Nick, we have a mutual connection through Reading Old Blues FC who I played for in the mid 1990's and then early 00's. Such a tragedy, my thoughts go out to the family.

Thinking of you, dearest Nicho, particularly today, when you would have turned 22 at 23:58 tonight. We always think it will get easier, but when 11th August arrives, memories come flooding back and we miss you increasingly as the day progresses.
We had been hoping that your headstone could have been ready in time for today, but it looks like it will be early next month.
With all our love,
Papa, Maman, Amélie

After about five days of 'no-show', Puss has reappeared - today, just when I needed her. It's kind of cool :-)

With Christmas also came the lovely news that Amelie and Alex have made the decision to get married. No date has been fixed yet, but we are thrilled for them.
